5. Tenant Screening and Consumer Reports

If you apply to rent, we may request a consumer report about you. If we take an adverse action based in whole or in part on information in a consumer report, we will tell you and provide the name and contact information of the reporting agency. You have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to obtain a free copy of your report from that agency within 60 days and to dispute inaccurate information with it. The reporting agency, not KB Realty Group, makes the screening data available to us and cannot explain why a decision was made.
